    Good day everyone,

I am cutting a film shot on HD (F-900) 23.976 Frames per second.
The material was being digitized on location from the Sony HD deck (I forget its name, JH3 maybe?) through FireWire, to FCP. It entered FCP as 29.97 FPS footage, and the time code burnin said, “PDT” (for pull down timecode) next to the timecode numbers.
When the footage was digitized, I ran “CINEMA TOOLS REVERSE TELECINE” on all of the clips, and ended up with 24 progressive frames per second, and all was dandy and nice.

EXCEPT that now, the timecode was for some reason 2 hours different from the tape! The burnin TC on my digitized footage matched the TC the FCP is reading from the footage, so the EDL is fine in the sense that the FCP is outputting the TC I have on my burning – BUT MOST of the footage (not even all of it, it only starts from I think 4, 5 or 6 hours timecode) is 2 hours (exactly) off, from what the tape is.

Any ideas? I am going into online next week and am trying to avoid needing the online house to offset everything on the edl, it would take lots of extra time.

    Thank you!
    David
