I was running reverse telecine on a group of p2 clips. During the night, I noticed the all too familiar window, “FCP has unexpectedly quit”. Now I can’t get FCP to read past 7% of the project. I looked at the media files and noticed about a dozen .tmp files. Was FCP in the middle of autosave at the time?

Do the .tmp files mean that I have about a dozen useless files which the originals will need to be reimported?

Do I restore the project to the latest time?

…and will the files telecined after that time… able to be reconnected?

Do I need to reverse telecine only one clip at a time in the future?

    Thank you all,
    Randy
