Reverse Strock path on auto-traced mask

March 3, 2021 at 4:18 pmHello everybody,
Im just starting out with AE and i ran into a problem i cant answer threw yt-tutorials or Google search. Please excuse this noob question.
I autotraced parts of an image and Ae created an autotracelayer with a generated mask. So far so good. I applied a stroke generator to that layer so i could draw the outlines of the object per keyframes. The route the stroke is taking from start to end is determined by the mask path(at least i think so)
What i want is to reverse the path the stroke is taking. So it starts at the opposite vertical side.
I tryd to play around with the start and end point control but no success. I tryd precomping it and time reverse but that wasn’t to great of an idea either. Online i found only tips on how to reverse paths of a shape layer but that does not help me either.
I guess i have to change the order of the mask points but i cant seem to find the way to do so.
Help to this noob problem would be gladly appreciated
Thanks

March 3, 2021 at 11:58 pmI think you just need to change the starting point
(right click on a point => Mask and Shape Path => Set First Vertex )
and play with Start and End values.
