I posted this on 2-pop site and called the lab but still can’t get a decent solution.

    Here’s my issue..

We shot on super 16 (no audio) Made digibata of the footage.
5 digibatas of footage transferred to 2 different hard drives.
Each digibata is about 80 -90 gigs of space on my internal hard drive.

I log the footage and now I’m trying to do the reverse pull down on cinema tools.

I did a test a few weeks back and found the best settings. Or so I thought, until this past weekend, when I tried to reverse several clips. The outcome was never clean. So I went back did another batch of tests and now no settings are giving me a clean pull down.

Can somebody please let me know what else I can do to get a clean pull down. I tried this with several versions of cinema tools.

The lap specs are 2 3 2 3 or aa bbb cc ddd
On the quicktime video clips this is represented by A B b_ c_ D (b, c are underscored)

There are two projects one going back to film, the other onto dvd..
But I want to be able to manipulate the footage, i.e. slow it down/speed it up and some other basic manipulations. This is why I need to footage to be clean on the time line..

Any and all feedback is great and will be appreciated to the point I’ll buy somebody a drink if they ever in nyc.

    thank you
    Nectarios.
