    Reverse compatibility? Render Lite8 in Full7.x for full res output?

    I’m working on a Resolve lite machine for someone and they want a greater than 1080 output. If I bring it to someone who has resolve 7 full version can I render an 8.x file on a 7.x resolve?

    I don’t believe resolve projects are backward compatible, but just have them update. Resolve updates are free.

    I wonder how many people out there who paid about $1000 are still on v7
