Retrospect to Bru migration
Hi everyone!
It’s my first time on this forum. I would need some advice on something.
I’m currently working for a company that has been working with Retrospect Archiving since a long time. But we are not happy with the way the software work. It’s been a real pain. We would like to try Bru software to archive our material. The only thing is that we have A LOT of old tape archive with Retrospect. Is there anyway to convert Retrospect catalog so it work with Bru? Or is it possible to scan LTO tape to rebuild a new catalog for Bru?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Unfortunately, the only option is to restore the Retrospect tapes to your system and then back the data up with BRU.
