    I have photoshop elements 6.
Unfortunately I have saved a file as a PSD file over a different one in error. (Doing insert so one file is one and four and the other is two and three) It will take me several days to redo the two and three again.

Is there any way to find the original file on my system? I have looked in recycle and it isn’t there. The original file was done on 1st February 2011.

    Thank you
    Pesha

You won’t find the “old” version because you’ve saved over it. So your old version is now this new version. If you are making a variety of versions, give your files unique names, like filename1.jpg, filename2.jpg, etc.
