Retrieving complete XDCAM clip
Working with a new EX3. I’ve had no trouble working with XDCAM Transfer in Final Cut 6 with short clips I’ve shot thus far. However, just shot a single long take of an interview. In XDCAM Transfer, the clip is indicated as 31 total minutes in length, and that it’s also in 3 parts. I’m only able to preview and retrieve Part 3 which is just the last few minutes of the clip. How do I go about retrieving Parts 1 and 2 of the clip within XDCAM Transfer? There was no cross-over between SxS cards.

Sony documentation does a really poor job explaining this. Seeing the steps visually including both split and spanned clips makes it easy. It’s also easy to “over think” the issue.
