Activity Forums VEGAS Pro retouch tool Event FX?

    Is there a tool in Event FX to retouch a imagen, f.e. to remove a part of the imagen?
    Now i do this in a foto-editor but its not practical.
    i’m using vegas 9.0

    It all depends on what you want to do.
    Using the cookie cutter or the masking tool (in Pan/Crop) can remove a part of an image and replace it with something else but you need to be more specific in what you’re trying to accomplish.
    A screen shot with the offending portion would help.

    Out of curiosity, why is this not practical in a photo editor?

    thx for your reaction, mike.
    i’m making a slide show of early 1900 photo’s and some newer ones. there i want to cut away some parts. for example a car. the emty place i want to fill up with parts of the the environment with the stamp(?) (“tampon de clonar”, sorry, i don’t know the english word).
    practical because of time.

    For that sort of image retouching, you just have to use a proper image editor like Photoshop. Video editors are not designed to do that sort of work. This is going to take time no matter how you do it, unfortunately. Clone Stamp is the proper name for that tool.
