    I don’t no where to post this Question hope someone here can help me

    Someone ask me to remove dust of a short clip shot on 16mm
    And my question is what kind of software can I use for this job
    The clip is 2min long, uncompressed .mov
    I have tried cinepaint but it can’t open .mov
    Hope someone here is able to help me

    CHV has some nice repair plugins that can work with removal of dirt & dead pixels. They also have some clone & paint plugins that can be used to cover bigger blobs of dirt with another bit of the frame. It gets tricky if there is movement in the shot of the shot is moving but the effect can be keyframed and I have used it to remove simple blobs, microphones etc from shot before.

    I will check photoshop, the price of the software can be the problem
