  • Retiming clip to 120%

    Hi there,

For a project, I would like to use DaVinci Resolve to retime a clip to 120%. However, when I go to the Retime menu, the speed options are only 110%, 150%, 200%, etc.

How do we retime to custom values with Resolve?

    Thanks in advance!

You should be able to type in almost any number, bearing in mind, of course, that the application will round off to some nearest number, just like they all do.

    Hi Pradeep.

Instead of choosing “Retime Clip” from the Menu, try using “Change clip speed” right on top of it. You should be able to type in the exact adjustment you want in terms of % of the frame rate.

    hope this helps.

    Cheers.

You can also press cmd+R and drag the topmost part of the clip on the right side. It should appear a little black arrow near the clip name
