Retaining iPhone video size
When you record on an iPhone long ways it creates a .MOV file that is a certain pixel size. I’m trying to edit a video but want to retain the size of the original clip, if I don’t it creates huge black sides where the video doesn’t reach. I know you can un-click ‘maintain aspect ratio’ but that stretches the videos and causes distortion.
Please help!

If you are using Vegas 12, it can set the project settings
automatically for your iPhone content.
If using any other version, you simply open up Project Properties
and select Match media Video settings and point it to your iPhone
