Restoring resolution in Canvas
Hello,
I’m using Final Cut Express 3.5.1 actually, sorry there wasn’t a board for Express. I came to work today to find my Mac’s resolution all wacky and everything was disproportionate and huge. I played with the user settings and brought it back to what I believe it was, but FCE is still all wacky. Mainly footage I captured from a Cannon GL-2 (which we’ve never encountered this problem with before), is now appearing different in the Canvas/Sequence window.
Before it was at 100% and fit to the title/tv safe as per usual. Now it’s fit to it at 66%. I can’t figure out how to change it back without losing the resolution. I could try recapturing the footage, but I opened another project with different footage and it’s doing the same thing. It’s something that needs to be changed with FCE itself. What could this be?

Hi Lindsay,
I think that somebody changed something in your screen setting.
Go to the Control Panel and see which one is OK.
