Restoring Media Manager after reinstalling Windows
I am going to reformat my machine and reinstall Windows and all of my software. Can anyone suggest the best way to reinstall the Media Manager so all of my carefully tagged clips will retain their meta-data?

Since you are going to reformat and reinstall your system,
I don’t think its possible to reinstall Media Manager with
all previous information and Meta-data intact.But if all your media that are tagged or on external drives,
you can follow this method suggested in this previous post:

All you need to do is backup your media library. By default it’s in My Documents \ Sony Media Libraries in a file called: Default.medialib. If you created any additional media libraries you must backup those files as well. Then once you restore your PC, just place the media libraries back.
