Restoring Markers from Remote Project File
So I now see that there is an option to “Write Clip Markers to XMP” but unfortunately, I handed off a project to another editor with an offsite system that painstakingly marked up the clips. Now I can’t re-link their clip markers to my media (the above option seemingly the culprit). I see the markers in offline mode, but once I re-link to my local media, it blows away those markers. Is there anyway to get the other editor’s markers restored to my system’s media? Perhaps by overwriting the current media XMP metadata with the offline clips?

I haven’t heard of a way to force XMP Metadata to link to a different file unless there’s a way it can be done with an actual text edit of the XMP document…you’d probably need to manually retype a new file path in the document in one or more places…
