Restoring in the timeline
In my timeline I have a very long section of intricately cut talking heads. For a long time they was covered by cut aways and the video of the heads had been deleted. Now, however, the director wants to have all of the heads back. Is there an easy way to do this, like “ctrl click” on the remaining audio track and do something to restore the video track. I’ve checked the autosave and that didn’t help. Thanks!

It sounds like you need to use the ‘match frame’ command.

Match frame = hitting the ‘f’ key with your audio clip selected. when you hit f, it will load the original clip and then you edit that back in to the timeline.
