  restoring an image on an Intel MacPro

  I’m trying to restore an image to a DVD but it isn’t working. I use the disk utility, click on the image, hit the restore tab, drag the image into the source slot and try to drag the disk to the destination slot but it won’t go. I also try to drag my extra HD to the slot and my OS HD but no go. Any one have any ideas on what is going on? Is there a utility out there that will work any better?
