Restaurant Concept
Hey guys,
New to Adobe Illustrator (and graphic design for that matter). I’m looking to create a concept for a restaurant a friend of mine wants to build. Here is an image that kind of conveys what I’m trying to do:
So it will be a kiosk like that. I want the image to have the depth seen here, the clean lines, the view of everything….
Is illustrator the proper program for this?

To create something like this from not having any experience in design might be kind of tough. You can do this illustrator if you can sketch out your concept and learn the program. I personally would create a concept like this in a 3D package but that just my personal preference from my background.
I would suggest that you might want to just learn the basics of design, sketching, maybe even interior design before jumping into something like this. The tutorials on this site will help you for sure to learn the programs but not necessarily design.

Not long ago I put in an application to NASA. I always wanted to build a spacecraft. Of course I don’t have any education or background in math, physics and such, but still, building a spacecraft thrills me.
NASA turned down my application. Till this day I could not figure out why.

You might be able to build something quickly using Google SketchUp:

Then add details in Illustrator / Photoshop.
