    Hi –

I recently had a crash that splattered many files, including lots of media on a HUGE RAID.
When trying to reconnect the media, many throw errors. When I try to open those same files
directly off the drive, they throw errors of various sorts…and do not open in QT.

However, when I move the QTs to a PC, they open correctly, which is where my resource fork thought
comes in. Am I crazy, or does this mean that a) the media is intact b) the resource fork is corrupt?

If that’s the case, is there a way to repair the resource forks? My other solution (and I don’t want
to think about doing this…) is to port all the media over to a PC, then re-save it as self-contained.

Any thoughts, advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Ron
