This is a new development in the series of issues that I’m having issues troubleshooting. I’m having to reboot my Mac every so often because Resolve will stop seeing some of my media.( I can see it alright from the desktop but Resolve only shows black in the Color, Conform and Browse tabs) Now when I go to resolve a conflict on a clip the App just crashes out. no warnings, it’s just gone. Also when I try to force relink the clip to the media pool it crashes.

    Any thoughts?

And DaVinci Tech support takes forever.

    Thanks,

What sort of media is it? Codec, frame size? How is it stored? How are you bringing it in?

    Why not 8.2?

    RED footage

So i’ve narrowed it down a bit. i marked an in and out on a clip and cut it into the timeline the Resolve seems to bake in those mark points into the source material. I’m forced to go and reimport the shot. So it seems the crash was happening because it couldn’t find the correct TC because of the baked in IN and OUT points.

Still don’t see why it would crash.
