Hi! I’ve recently moved from Final Cut Pro/Color to Media Composer/Resolve.

I’ve edited a small video in MC5.5 without problems (imported de media to DNxHD 115). Then I exported a AAF file from that sequence and tried to import it into DaVinci Resolve.

The problem is: DaVinci won’t import the MXF files… it says they are missing even though I’ve selected the right folder. I tried to add them to my media pool, but the same thing, it just says the folder is empty.

I came back to MediaComposer and relinked all the files to the original AppleProRes 422 files via AMA (they have sent me in this codec, even though it was shot on a Canon 5D). I’ve exported another AAF of that relinked sequence, but DaVinci only conects half of the files… the other remains offline (I guess I might be doing something wrong when relinking). tho, RESOLVE CAN READ THE PRORES FILES IN THE MEDIA POOL!

    MY QUESTION IS:
How can I make it recognize the MXF DNXHD files? What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!
