  Resolve (Windows) hangs when browsing Red One R3D files – solution!

  Resolve is extremely slow and even crashes with Red One files. The problem is that Windows doesn’t have codec for the .mov files automatically created by the camera. And those .mov files really slow Resolve down!

  Solution is to delete all those useless .mov proxy files (or move them). Go to the folder where all your Red media is and type into search box “.mov” then select all and delete (or move). Done!

  Just wanted to share our experience. Hope it saves someone time to figure it out 😉
