  Resolve Playback Problems with 12bit HD-SDI out

  I am facing problems playing back footage with an older Linux Workstation. I am playing back 4k TIFF 16bit files from an internal RAID. The playback is fine with HD-SDI out set to 10bit ( RGB 444 4096×2160 ) and the machine sustains 24p playback. So it is probably nothing related to the file reading and opening part. As soon as I switch to 12bit HD-SDI the machine plays around 21 frames. What could be the limiting factor ? CPU, memory, GPU, HD-SDI board. The machine is equipped as follows:

  Supermicro CentOs 7
  Resolve 16.1.2
  2x 3.1 GHZ 8core Intel Xeon
  32 GB RAM
  2x Nvidia Quadro P6000
  Decklink 4k Extreme 12G
