October 20, 2022 at 2:25 pmI get the ominous feeling Apple is going to buy BMD. It would be an astonishing fit.
Jus’ sayin’…

October 20, 2022 at 11:27 pmI would be astonished if Grant Petty would be slightly interested in selling his passion. Especially as he knows Apple would let it languish as soon as something else distracted their attention

October 20, 2022 at 11:31 pmPersonally I have no use for this development but I have been wondering if it might be prudent to add the soon to be released MacPro to my kit so I can edit on the go. I don’t like the idea of small screens for Resolve. A 16″ laptop is bare minimum for my taste but this seems to be getting people excited

October 20, 2022 at 11:34 pmThis interests me however “Supported file formats include H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes and Blackmagic
RAW…” Is this poor grammar or does it mean Resolve will actually work with ProResRAW? It could be a interesting although I have never seen ProResRAW files. Plenty of BRAW -

November 7, 2022 at 9:59 pmThe ATOMOS device at my last gig recorded ProRes Raw. I did not love it. Really hard to edit with unless you have a certified beast of a machine.

May 7, 2023 at 1:15 amOMG, I hope not. It would totally ruin all the awesomeness that is BMD.
