June 11, 2013 at 7:04 amNo Nvidia GPUs, no PCIe expansion…what else to say? Apple did again what they’ve done with FCPX. They are not listenning the users and their needs. They think they know better than us what we need.

June 11, 2013 at 4:01 pmHowever, if you can find Grant Petty’s statement (search the Resolve forum on this site), you will find that apparently Blackmagic has already been testing the device. They seem to be departing from strict CUDA processing and opening up to more OpenCL/GL/oo-ee, oo-ah-ah walla walla bing bang processing, so what happens over the next couple of months leading to a physical release only the witch doctor knows.

June 12, 2013 at 1:48 amIf you combined the Mac Pro (as it appears) with Blackmagic’s Ultrastudio for Thunderbolt, what else would you need?
Ah. Never mind, I thought it had some graphics capabilities built in.
