Migrated documents and apps from older MacBook Pro to new Retina machine. Several error messages with Resolve Lite upon launch.

First message – CUDA driver not loaded.

Second issue – No database and will not let me create a database.

Has anyone tried running Resolve or Resolve Lite on one of these new machines?

Thanks. I should have noticed that thread.

Now I would appreciate some help figuring out why it will not let me create a database

Did you do a Time Machine Restore by any chance? It doesn’t migrate the database server installation across properly.

You need to completely uninstall the database, and re-install Resolve. If you want to migrate your old projects, backup from old Mac, and restore on new Mac.

Thanks. I discovered when poking around that indeed it didn’t migrate. What solved it was a removal of the SQL folder in Library and a reinstall of Lite.

    Thanks

Ned, how do you like Resolve on the MacBook Pro Retina display? Did you change the MacBook screen preferences to 1920×1080? I suppose things will look better when there’s a ‘retina ready’ version of Resolve. Are you using a large external screen for your desktop work and not the 15″ laptop screen? Any other interesting things to note about your exoerience with Resolve on the new laptop.
