Resolve Lite 8.1 _ Render ProRes 4444 fails… picture gets cut off.

This is related to using an ATI/AMD GPU card. This should be fixed in 8.1.1, or the new 8.2 release.

I got it to work when I render out at 1 frame per second. Is this normal?

It would not be normal with 8.1.1, but what exactly was your problem? The right third of the image being cut off as in the original post? Or not rendering at all?

Are you using an AMD/ATI GPU card?

What resolution files are you rendering?

Hi Dwaine, yes, it’s the same problem as the first person who posted – the right third of the image is cut off. I’m using Alexa files, prores 4444 log c (1920×1080), and when I render Prores 422, everything is fine, but prores 4444 and DPX both crop the image.

I definitely have 8.1.1

My GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB

If you can, I would suggest trying 8.2 to see what happens.

You are apparently on an iMac or MacBook Pro?
