resolve hangs for 2 minutes during import
I have this recent issue with Resolve. Every time I import a new shot (DPX), it takes about 2-3 minutes until it shows up in the media pool. It used to be a second or two. This is a huge problem as I have to import over 1000 files.
Due to some previous issues, I am working on a project file that was transferred from a different computer. The DPX files live on a server and I am accessing them directly. The speed of server connection should not be an issue.Thanks!

I have had this issue a number of times, and its very frustrating. I think its somehow linked to a corrupted project.
I was able to solve the problem eventually by exporting my timeline as an XML, creating a fresh project, and importing the XML into the new project.
I’ve had this happen a few times. Frustrating. Maybe something linked to corrupted project settings.
Try a fresh project.
