  resolve flicker problem

  I just finished an DVD and i thought everythig goes well viewing on Mac DVD Player .
  But, when i put on a regular DVD player i discovered that fileds are going crazy. It’s Flickering.
  Now, i tried 3 times to inverse the field order on m2v file with quicktime and export but the result is the same. Flicker image.
  So, i know that mpeg2 format doesn’t have fields. It means i made a mistake when i exported from Avid? reverse field order?
  What can i do now, because i’ve already deleted the original mov. I supose i must decompress to mov DV and chenge the field order and recompress again. It’s corect? Any comentary would help me a lot because i’m stuked.Thanx.
