    Hey all.

    Remember when you can use FCP7 and export a reference mov, that was QT wrapper of an existing edit.
    (This sort of thing was handy to make fast export once and a while)

    You can open it in Quicktime 7, but not in Quicktime x.

    Seems that Resolve has always had a hard time with this too.
    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    I haven’t used them for this kind of work because they are so fragile… But I seem to recall reading discussions during the v8 days that stated that these files are a no go in Resolve. Due to how the QTDecoder works…
