Resolve 9 Lite started crashing
I’ve been working on a project with 5DMKII RAW footage for about a month, and everything has been going great until just recently my monitor turned black and then my computer rebooted on its’ own after a few seconds.
When my system started back up I opened up my project again, switched to the Color tab, scrolled through my shots, and *Bam* my screen turned into a bunch of colored stripes and my computer restarted again. After scouting the internet for answers I saw that someone repaired their disk permissions in Disk Utility, so I did that and tried again, but my computer just keeps going black and restarting when I open my project.
Is this happening because my project is getting too large for my GPU to handle?
I haven’t had any problems up until now, so my system can evidently run Resolve just fine.If my project IS too big, should I split it up into many smaller projects? And if so, how can I do this without losing my keyframes and tracking data? I reckon that I would have to export stills of all my grades to import them into a new project, but I don’t understand how I’m gonna do this if I can’t even got to them without my computer crashing.
Would love to hear some input on this if anyone can help me out.
