October 14, 2015 at 7:45 amI’ve just loaded Resolve 12 on a beefy but dated mobile workstation (Dell M6400 Win7 pro 64 fitted with nVidea quadroFX3700M) and despite running Fusion well, Resolve loads but immediately crashes as soon as I try to import any media. When started the program says no cuda card attached so I guess this is the problem. Is there likely to be anyway around this?
Failing that does anyone have a suggestion about a suitably equipped new laptop that I can buy that will run Resolve acceptably? I’m sure it needs many more resources than can be found mobile, but I’d like to keep it small.
Many thanks
Alan

October 16, 2015 at 4:53 pmThanks Peter,
I did manage to get it working by updating the graphics driver, but it plays VERY slowly. I guess the machine’s just too dated.
