    Resolve 12 working great!

BUT how to export a (graded) short segment, using IN/OUT points???

In Premiere, this is an export option: that is, export the entire sequence or the IN/OUT segment only.

Don’t see a similar option in Resolve.

Tried setting Edit Mode In/OUT points, etc., but those don’t seem to carry into the Render/Export/Deliver page.

    Must be missing something obvious.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Mike

On the Deliver page, right click the first clip and select Mark In, then right click the last clip and select Mark Out. Then Add to Render Queue and Start Render.

Not obvious the fact that to do that you have to select single clip option…

I’ve been struggling with that for a day or two 🙂

The logic with Davinci is really new to me and may be surprising some times.

Perhaps in the non-beta 12 version the in/out points can also be selected with the usual i/o keys. Also perhaps a previously marked i/o segment in the edit page will carry over to the deliver page.

Also, please advise on printing Data Burn info on the exported video.

I have data burn set up and visible on the color view window and it carries over to the deliver window. It is also of course selected in the deliver setup check box. It even displays while rendering. (FWIW, this is UHD > Quicktime DNx220x 1920×1080.)

But no data burn visible on the exported output.

    What am I missing here???

    Thanks,
    Mike
