Resolve 10.0.0.073 on OSX 10.9 freezes everything including the mouse at random times and I have to hard reboot, it happens constantly and I can’t correlate it to any specify activity within Resolve, the console log shows these two things every time:

    11/25/13 11:46:20.618 PM Resolve[416]: invalid drawable
11/25/13 11:46:28.862 PM Resolve[416]: modalSession has been exited prematurely – check for a reentrant call to endModalSession:

    GPU is a Radeon 5770

    Thoughts?

[andrew Finch] ” at random times”

Hmmm. I note that most of the time that this happens to me, its when I am playing or jogging back and forth across a cut.

If it happens on a cut, it might be the media..
I tend to convert everything to DPX after re-assembling my timeline.
If you have the possibility (RAID) try that..
There are so many “evil’ codecs out today…an internal RAW full res proxy would be kick-ass

    A slice of color…

Looks like it was not liking a USB 3 driver that was running the drive with the media. Works fine over USB 2.
