resolve 10 no audio playback
hi there
after installing resolve 10 i still see the audio meetering during playback of a clip. so the sound is there and resolve seems to play it back. but i cant hear anything. neither in the media pool nor in the timeline. right now i am just using the internal speakers.
are there any new audio settings i am missing?? all other applications play back audio as always…

…if I connect my Blackmagic Intensitiy Extreme and hook my external monitor to it via HDMI i hear the sound on that external monitor.
so yes, the sound is definitely tthere. it just won’t play back on my iMac.

did you check : System pref > sound > output ?
this could be the problem

If you have a BMD playout device, card etc, connected then the audio is routed there so the video and audio are in time. We don’t know the time delay for third party audio ports so it would only be a guess to match it with the video output if we used the computer connections.

i finally got it. as long as the decklink card is activated, the audio is routed only to this output.
deactivating deckling and restarting… the sound is back.thanks !
