resolution change in imported stills – Premiere Pro 2
If I bring in a still at a high resolution (eg. 1200×1200) in order to zoom and pan it, does that resolution change once the zoom is done and saved. If I go back later and change the zoom for instance, am I still working with the 1200×1200 resolution or has Premiere Pro 2 saved it at a lesser resolution. Thanks for your help.

The original resolution will remain the same no matter what. Just make sure that you don’t use the “Scale to frame size option”, either in your preferences, or by right clicking on the clip.
