  Resizing solids whilst keeping masks the same size

  After assuring us that we were working to a 4:3 format, our clients have changed their minds and are now telling us our film should be 16:9. The project uses a lot of solids with masks. The masks are actually larger than the solids so changing the format shouldn’t be a problem, except that when you re-size a solid it re-sizes the mask too. Is there an easy way to get around this?
