Hi guys wondering if I could get some help with this. Im trying to create a lower third. Im trying to resize a rectangle (y axis) but as I scale it smaller the left and right sides of the rectangle gets rely thin but the top and bottom sides stay same size. Ive noticed so many examples of this on videohive where authors do the samething with different results than me. They scale the rectangle all the sides remain the same size but the rectangle itself gets smaller. Am i missing something? Thanks to anyone who could help.

A screenshot of what i get

Is it a shape layer? If so you might be changing the scale of the entire layer vs changing the scale of that particular shape.
