got the transparency working- but now i need to resize the footage- i have bullet hits compositing over footage of a wall- and the bursts of gun flare appear too large. is there a way to resize footage?
    thanks again

If I remember back that far, you can either use the Motion effect to resize the image, or the Tranform effect.

tried the motion option- theres a percent option- but doesn’t seem to do anything. there is a resize filter- but when i drag it ontpo the footage- no setup options appear-there are no controls to resize?!

Transform is probably the easiest. Use that.
