  • Resizing clip to specific size?

I’m aware of the track motion panel, and being able to re-size the video by a percentage. But is there a way to quickly re-size it to a very specific dimension, say, 320×240, or 640×480?

Please explain your workflow/intentions. If you want 320×240 for Export purposes (web video for instance), that is done during the final export process, just edit the video at native resolution in Premiere and resizing is done at the end.

Oh, sorry. I should have explained a little more..

I’m trying to arrange two or three videos so they play back next to each other.

For instance, if my ‘stage’ were 960×480, I’d like to resize one video to 800×600 and stick it on the left hand side. The other, I’d like to resize to 320×240 and stick in the top right hand corner.

I’m eye-balling it right now and it looks OK, but I’d like to be a little more precise.

Well, I think the pecentage is the only way to go. But as long as the aspect ratio stays the same, 800/960=.833 (83.3%) and 320/960=.333 (33.3%).

So the conversion to any size is really not too complex.
