Resize option not working in Output render settings
I have a comp which is 2880 x 480 which I want to render to resize and out at 1280 x 720. I have selected ‘resize’ in the render settings and put in the new resolution however when it renders it keeps coming out at 2880 x 480.
I have tried it as HAP and photo jpeg codecs. Anything I am doing wrong? I have tried it in 2015 and 2017.
The comps are all just using solids and effects so I was hoping that there wont be much detail loss when resizing it as none of it is bitmap material.

Odd that it is not working. A work-around is to create a new 1280×720 comp, drop your finished comp in that and scale it down. Then export that smaller composition.
