I want to resize my film, but the once effekt I found cuts the the parts on the top and bottom and don’t push it. So how can I make a simple letterbox in Premerie 6.5?
    thanks for reading

A simple letterbox is usually done using the titler. There is a template, under Mattes, called Letterbox. Just drop it on your top track and make it’s duration long enough to cover your timeline.

But the Problem is that it don’t push the image together. it only covers. it should be an effect like resize in avid express.

    I misunderstood the question.

I suggest that you use a virtual clip and apply the Transform effect. Then set the vertical scale to 75%

Use Motion. Center the clip and use the Zoom to resize.
