    Hey guys,

So I know the correct solve to this problem would have been to start my animations in a 1080 comp but that’s not the case, so here goes:

I have a bunch of 720 comps that now need to be 1080 with multiple instances of Element 3D and Particular, that have gotten pretty complicated. I have scaled the comps up to 1080 by creating new solids and of course now the camera animation is way off. Also, Element has some expressions that link nulls to the transform controls of the 3D objects that are not correlating when I scale the comp. Is there a fancy expression that can help with this or is my only option to essentially start over?

I don’t use Element 3D, but you could try:

    File>Scripts>Scale Composition.jsx

I’m not sure how this would work with Particular, but the following method has worked for me in the past using Element:

In each instance of Element you must create a World Transform Null (twirl down “World Transform” and click the “Create” button under “Create World Transform Null”). Navigate to File > Scripts >Scale Composition.jsx and enter 1920 as New Comp Width. Next, create a new 1920×1080 solid, copy Element from the original layer and paste onto the new one.

I hope this was helpful. Good luck.

No luck. The world transform nulls didn’t help. I just can’t understand why the Group Nulls aren’t matching the the positions of the 3D objects anymore….
