Hello, I’m trying to create a template for a project where I can resize a square shape layer with rounded corners on multiple comps and adjust it so it fits around other elements on the screen.

My idea was to have the X & Y size parameters parented to slider controls so that I can adjust the size that way, the problem is I already have an animation of the square growing into its final shape and If I parent the values to the sliders they overwrite the animation keyframes.

My question is if there’s a way to change the size of my square shape layer so that it keeps the animation I already have?

I tried using sourceRectAtTime(); expression to parent the dimensions to another square Shape Layer and it works, but that also overwrites the animation keyframes.
