I’m Having a strange problem. I’ve looked all over the internet for solutions, but maybe I’m the only one experiencing this?

When I am using the Reshape effect, and I try to move a correspondence point, some other correspondence point (other that the one I was aiming to move) moves instead. Along the same lines, all the tutorials say that my cursor icon should change when I’m “over” a point, but mine always has the “x” version of the pointer icon no matter what I am pointing at.

This is all making the effect pretty much impossible to use.

    I am using CS3 on a G5 Tower with system 10.5.8.

I’m going to go out out on a limb here – given that I don’t know anything about your project – and say that you can probably accomplish whatever it is you’re trying to do (warp/morph?) much easier with the Puppet Tool.

Reshape is pretty clunky and, as far as I know, rarely used these days.

Yes, thanks very much. “Puppet Warp” was a lot better than “Reshape.”
But if anyone needs to know, in “Reshape” the masks and shapes have to be large to get the best results. It can always be scaled later.
