    resetting the serial number

    Hey gang, I put FCP on a system and then found out it was the wrong one, I needed 5.1 and I installed 5.0. Don’t Ask. Anyway, I threw FCP into the trash and installed 5.1. But, it still has the serial number of 5.0. Does anyone know the file I need to trash in order to re-enter the correct serial number?

    I think it’s:

    Library/Application Support/ProApps/Final Cut Studio System ID

    But don’t take my word for it. I could be wrong.
