February 11, 2006 at 12:06 pmI was shooting and suddenly the camera went out of focus and it would not focus again either manually or with auto focus. Since I was shooting a short film and everything was ready, I got another camera, and 2 days later my camera was as if nothing had happened. I posted my problem in the forum and I got that solution, to reset the camera, but I don’t know how to reset it. My focus is fine now, but I would like to know how to reset the camera.
Thanks Noah

February 11, 2006 at 5:02 pmThere is a service reset you can find if you google but this is not recommended for use. You could void your warranty.

February 11, 2006 at 11:57 pmThere’s a recessed “reset” button on the camera that you press with something like a straightened-out paperclip. See page 82 of the manual for more info.

February 8, 2008 at 8:49 amHi… I’d like to reset my camera. I’ve searched on the forum but all the posts point me to the manual, which I don’t have. Any information out there on how to do it? I know where the button is, but when I press and hold it, the camera shuts off… when I let it go it reboots but everything is the same.
Thanks!
