Reset In & Out point on a long duration layer already on the timeline
So for years I’ve been finding workarounds to this problem, but there has to be a Mandalorian way to do this?
Inside a 6 sec. animation comp I have a long clip footage (15 minutes duration). This clip contain different takes of a situation. Once the In & Out point are set and the clip is put on the timeline it is very difficult to easily change the in & out points of that layer if there is a long time distance between those In & Out points.
Let’s say I’m not happy with the current segment of the clip and I want to find a new head & tail of that clip. I know the new in point and it is beyond scrubbing, moving or pan behind distance of the current in point. How can I quickly change this In point without going back to the project or footage window and start all over again on the original clip?
I have some other workarounds using “home” , “alt”, “[” or “]” keys, but there has to be a better way?
Thanks for any insights, jedis.
