    Hello,
I am currently trying to install Adobe After Effects CS5.5 on my computer:

    Windows 7 Professional
    64-bit Version
    8GB of RAM (7.80GB usable)
    Intel Core i3 M370 2.40GHz
    12.2GB of available disk space

It won’t let me fully install the program. It keeps saying “required components are disabled”. What does this mean? I have checked the back of the box, that also says it supports 64-bit, and it appears that I have all the necessary requirements. This is super annoying and I can’t find anywhere on the net someone who has had the same issue. The word “disabled” to me means that I just need to turn something on in my operating system but I don’t know what to turn on. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

    J.B.

The exact message is “required components are disabled”. That’s it. It happens Everytime I put the cd and run the program right after I log in with my adobe ID.
