Requests for Conform screen
1. Let me navigate the timeline by clicking on the EDL entry
very useful if dealing with a lot of sped changes and 500 clips per EDL
2. Show the Shot number in the Timeline
right now I have to go to Color if my client says “go to shot 244”
3. Keep the clip selected after you dropped it into the timelinethanks

My biggest request for the conform window is:
– The ability to adjust the zoom, pan and tilt of clips when doing a side by side comparison with the offline reference file.

My request would be simple copy/ paste from one session to another.
I have a question, how do you deal with transparency in the conform room?
When importing from xml the levels are respected but cannot be changed.
I mean I can assign transfer modes(add,overlay,etc) but can figure out how to set the levels for it.

Also, I’d like to add monitor output, it’s not visible in the broadcast, only in the gui, and the ability to type timecode

maybe its just my warped sense of humor but why is that everyone has ideas about how resolve could be bettered and are very happy to make suggestions and consequently live within its current limitations…it is a great program and we all love it! and yes the black magic team listen to their users and even implement certain ideas, yet when final cut x came up short in few areas, everyone screamed and yelled and jumped up and down like spoiled children rather than make suggestions on how it could be bettered. just an observation but it seems to me that we are all willing to let the newcomer make a few missteps along the way but don’t extend the same courtesy to the more established brands…..again i’m just speaking my mind and am not looking for arguments or criticism…..take it or leave it!
